Adele plans to take a break from music after her Las Vegas residency ends on May 31.
The 29-year-old singer said she had had a long and fulfilling career.
“I feel very lucky to be here,” she said in a press statement, according to The Associated Press. “To see this many people, this many people cheering, it’s like a dream.”
Her new song, “A Moment Like This,” which she premiered during The Ellen DeGeneres Show, is included on her new album, My World 2.0.
“All of the things I’ve done in my life, the things I’ve learned, it’s all just a little bit of this moment right now, right then, all that matters,” she said in the press statement. “I’m going to savor it.”

I just wish I could have appreciated this song more than I do at this time in my life. I’m still a young woman who has been blessed with a lot of amazing experiences and am now in the position of being able to share that with the world.

I think she should take the time and look at what is there when her career is through so she can savor whatever she accomplished in her professional life. That’s a big question.
